EYES
CONNECTIONS BETWEEN MICRO & MACRO
Kayhan’s work explores the relationship between individual (micro) experience and universal (macro) energies.
While visually interpreting cosmic connections, she also examines how the individual relates to space. Through these layers, existence is framed as a continuous flow—an ongoing transformation rather than a fixed state.
AWAKENING & RENEWAL
Despite the intensity of this inner transformation, the process leads toward a sense of renewal.
This awakening allows the artist to reconnect—with herself, with others, and with her environment. Through her work, this shift becomes visible as both acceptance and reconfiguration.
THE HEALING POTENTIAL OF ART
Kayhan approaches art as a space of transformation.
Her works reflect both personal and collective experiences shaped during the pandemic, inviting the viewer into an emotional and perceptual journey. Rather than offering resolution, they open a space for reflection on collective bonds and shared vulnerability.
BEYOND SEEING
The Eyes series proposes that seeing is not merely a physical act, but a relational one.
The eye becomes a threshold—simultaneously directed outward and inward. Drawing from the philosophy of Ubuntu, the works move beyond individual existence toward a collective “we,” questioning how perception connects us to one another and to the world.
